Cosmic Crisp® Power Porridge

Ingredients

  • 200 g rolled oats
  • 800 ml milk or plant-based drink
  • 2 Cosmic Crisp® apples, thinly sliced
  • 150 g blueberries
  • Nuts of choice (e.g. almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts), roughly chopped
  • 4 tbsp puffed quinoa
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • A pinch of salt
  • Honey or maple syrup, optional, for serving
Method

  1. Cook the porridge
    Bring the oats, milk and salt to the boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 8–10 minutes, stirring, until creamy.
  2. Serve
    Divide the porridge between bowls. Top with Cosmic Crisp® apple slices, blueberries, nuts, puffed quinoa, sunflower seeds and chia seeds.
  3. Finish
    Sweeten with a little honey or maple syrup if desired.
