Cosmic Crisp® Brunch Toast with Burrata & cured ham

Ingredients
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 2 burrata balls (approx. 250 g total)
- 1–2 Cosmic Crisp® apples, very thinly sliced
- 80–100 g cured ham (e.g. prosciutto or San Daniele)
- A few cherry tomatoes, finely chopped
- Fresh thyme sprigs
- Edible flowers (optional)
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Sea salt, to taste
Method
- Toast the bread
Toast the sourdough slices in a dry frying pan or oven until golden and crisp. Allow to cool slightly. - Prepare the burrata
Gently tear the burrata and spread generously over the warm toast. - Add the Cosmic Crisp® apples
Arrange the apple slices in a fan shape on top of the burrata, highlighting their freshness and signature crunch. - Finish with cured ham
Loosely fold the cured ham and place it on or beside the toast. - Garnish and season
Sprinkle over the chopped tomatoes, thyme and edible flowers. Drizzle with olive oil and season with black pepper and a touch of sea salt if needed.
